Does being a celebrity or hanging around celebrities make the stress so unbearable that people turn to drugs and alcohol for comfort? It would sure seem that was as many celebrities and members of their entourage fall victim to substance abuse.

Brooke Mueller – She certainly falls in the category of one who associated with a celebrity with drug problems. In fact, her ex-husband is the poster-child for Hollywood celebrities with series substance abuse issues – Charlie Sheen (there will an entire blog dedicated to Mr. Sheen). When she was arrested for DUI, she admitted having drank wine, smoked marijuana, snorted cocaine and popped a few Vicodin. She was arrested again five years later for possession of cocaine. Could Mr. Sheen have been a bad influence?
