Do celebrities take drugs to enhance their careers? Probably not. Do they take drugs to expand their mind and make themselves more proficient? Probably not. Do they take them because they are readily available and they have the funds to pay for them? Perhaps.
The increasing number of young stars arrested for drug-related offenses is staggering. This is the ninth in a series of blogs highlighting celebrity drug use and substance abuse.
Paris Hilton – is there anyone on the planet who has garnered more attention in the media for having very little talent that Paris Hilton? On the negative side she has made homemade sex videos and been arrested for cocaine possession. This occurred while her boyfriend was receiving a DUI. On the positive side it has been a few months since her name has surfaced.
T.I. & Tameka Cottee – If you have never heard of these two, don’t be alarmed. I guess T.I. is a rapper of some fame and his wife, well she is just a mess. With her husband only three months out of jail and on probation, Tameka had no problem doing cocaine and ecstasy with her husband. Both drugs were found in their car when they were pulled over on a routine traffic stop on the Sunset Strip.
Drugs are most definitely a part of many celebrities’ lifestyle. Hopefully a good drug class and positive counseling will keep these youngsters on the right side of the law.
